Coffee has long been known
as the glue to catch up.
Coffee, like food, has long been known as the glue to catch ups, business meetings, hangouts, and anything that requires interaction. But amazingly, coffee is also a perfect companion for those who crave for a “me-time” to either just read, write, or be lost in their own thoughts.
Did you know that back in the late 17th and 18th centuries, coffee houses in UK and Europe were popular meeting places for artists, writers, socialites, and even politicians? The coffee places today, or cafes as we refer them, are simply a reflection of what was. From the slower paced gourmet service, tastefully decorated environments, and the social activities or events – all are parts of what makes the coffee culture back then.
At Bali Bakery, we are proud to be one of the pioneers of setting up the coffee culture in Bali, Indonesia. We took all the elements of making a coffee house a warm and intimate place for social gatherings and made improvements to suit our customers. From the regular Espresso, double shot Cappuccino (or Cappuccino Doppio as we call it), to something cold like Iced Café Latte for the always-hot and always-humid weather in Bali, and Mocca Carmazi for those who prefer something sweet.
For our beans, we choose Lavazza. Their unique blends which consist of Arabica and Robusta are carefully integrated to give perfectly balanced coffee, with a distinctive flavor, aroma, and body. Our well-trained baristas will then transform these roasted and ground coffee beans to a drink of your choice.
Someone once said “Good ideas start with brainstorming, great ideas start with coffee” and we can’t agree more to that. Experience our coffee culture and let us know your thoughts. See you soon!
